Tips for Women Working at Night

Facing the increasingly fierce competition in the modern business society, women play more and more important parts in terms of work and duties. Many companies require them to work at night. According to research, working at night is as harmful as noise polluting, UV exposing and smoking to women’s heath. The harm of working at night is the same as that of smoking twenty cigarettes every day. It is one among many reasons causing women to catch such diseases as insomnia, heart trouble, weariness, hypochondrium, and even cancers. For example, mammary cancer and cervical cancer have been increasingly threatening women’s lives. Women working at night are one and a half times more likely to catch cancers than women working in the day. The more frequently they work at night, the more likely they are to catch cancers. So preventing women from being threatened by such harm is very urgent at present.

What can women do for this? Here are some suggestions introduced by specialists.

First, women who often work at night should pay special attention to their food intake. Working at night uses up large amount of energy, so eating something which can compensate calories is quite necessary. Eat more fruit, vegetables and protein rich food such as meet and eggs. But remember that it is not the more meat women eat the better. Dry fruit is also very helpful to restore energy, such as pignuts, almonds, cashews, figs and walnuts which contain rich Vitamin B, Vitamin E, Calcium, Iron, and Vegetable Oil. Before going out for work, drink a cup of milk is very beneficial for skin protection. After finishing work, do not drink such nerves activating drinks as tea and coffee. Before going to bed, having a bowl of porridge will be very beneficial. Put some longans, lotuses, lilies and dates inside the porridge which will be helpful for calming the nerves. Pay attention to have breakfast, lunch and supper on time and do not leave them out.

Besides, some other things should also be noticed. Women who work at night should pay special attention to exercise. And the relevant managers should also take care to build a favorable working environment for women, with good light and bright colors witch are beneficial to both body and mind. When sleeping, create a peaceful environment without or with little light. Although women hope to maintain a veneer of perfection even at night, it is not proper for them to make up before they go out for work, because night is the time when skin is breathing.
