How to Improve the Immunity in the Cold Weather

The winter is coming. The weather turns colder and colder. In this condition, in order to strengthen body resistance, the people should eat some foods which can prevent the disease. Now we will supply some healthy diets to you.

First of all, I will introduce the beef in the diet. As we all know, Zinc can enhance the human’s immunity. Zinc is very important in the diet, because it can promote the growth of white blood cells and help the body against viruses, bacteria and other harmful substances. If the people lack the zinc, it will increase the risk of infectious diseases. In order to avoid the zinc deficiency, you should eat some Beef which is an important source of human zinc supplementation. So in the winter, eating proper tonic beef can prevent the cold and influenza. Besides, the beef also can avoid the probability of getting the heart disease and cancer.

In addition, according to the experts’ongoing study, they found that corn included very high vitamin comparing with the rice, wheat and other staple foods. The corn has more than 5-10 times vitamin than the others in the nutritional value and health indicators. Meanwhile, what let the experts surprised is that the corn contains a lot of nutrition and health care material. Except for containing carbohydrates, protein, fat, carotene, the corn also contains riboflavin, vitamins and other nutrients. These substances are very good for the human’s heath, so we should eat some corn in winter.
Finally, I will talk some functions of the chicken soup. The people have the superficial understanding on the efficacy of chicken soup. In fact, it is very helpful for the heath in winter. Experts study found that chicken soup has a certain role in alleviating the symptoms (such as a stuffy nose and sore throat), and improve the body’s immune function. Winter is the peak season of influenza. Different from the common cold, the flu is more ferocious.

Usually symptoms are pain, fever and fatigue, but also accompanied by cough, nasal congestion and throat pain. Studies have shown that chicken soup can inhibit the production of mucous membrane, so it can help to reduce nasal congestion and sore throat, and the Cough frequency would be also reduced.

Chicken soup can improve the body’s immune ability. Therefore, the role of chicken soup can not be ignored in the fight against colds and flu. In the flu season, drinking chicken soup regularly can help to enhance the body immunity. On the other hand, for those who have been influenza virus-infected patients, it will help to prevent the cases of influenza and reduce the suffering of patients caused by a large number of inflammation and mucus production.

  1. Hi, Is it okay to drink vitamin water instead of taking normal vitamins? I drink vitamin water daily, but have never really been one to take vitamins. Recently I started to wonder if I should be taking vitamins just to be healthier, but if I drink vitamin water is this already covered? I know it has extra calories and sugar in it, but does it still act like a vitamin?

    Hi, how many different vitamins and Herbal supplements can I take at a time? I want to start taking different vitamins and herbs for different things that bother me like mood swings, hormones, headaches, irregular cycle, ect. But everyone prescribes something different to take. Can I take everything that they prescribe at once? People have said to take st. johns wort, 5htp, b50 complex, magnesium, b2, b6 What do you think?
